- Durability to ensure reliable operation over a long service life
- Low thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) compatible with ceramic oxide components and sealing materials
- Corrosion resistance in a dual atmosphere, resistance to hydrogen and other fuel gases such as methane
- Low and stable electrical resistivity
- High creep resistance at high temperatures, suitable for cell stacks
- Resistance to evaporation of elements like chromium
- Good forming properties
